At Howies, our culture is rooted in a shared love for sports and the people who play them. Whether it’s early-morning skates, our annual Arcadia Bluffs golf trip, or summer softball games, that team-first mindset carries into everything we do - we compete hard, laugh harder, and always have each other’s backs. That passion shows up in the office too, from talking about last night’s game to working closely with rink owners, athletic trainers, coaches, and team managers who share the same connection to sports. From helping a customer exchange a T-shirt to setting up a full team order, we keep it personal, fun, and grounded in the game - because for us, working in sports isn’t just a job, it’s a lifestyle we’re grateful to be part of.

"Work Hard, Play Hard"

Here at Howies, we take the phrase "work hard, play hard" very seriously. We'll have 3 full lines at our 11pm beer league game, and in the morning, those same 3 lines in the office before 8am. We take a day off in the summer to play the "Howies Cup", a company-wide golf scramble that every employee participates in. Then in the winter, those same employees are in the warehouse on Black Friday, helping the warehouse team stay on top of holiday orders. We all share this work ethic from our background in sports. Almost every employee at Howies has a background in some type team sport, and it translates perfectly into the workplace.
