Hours: Full or Part-Time - Hours of Operation 7 AM to 6 PM EST
Schedule: On-site, Monday through Friday (Saturday as needed)

Our Canadian side of the business operates out of our new facility located in Grimsby, Ontario, just off the QEW between Hamilton and Niagara. Today, Howies works with every team in the NHL and AHL, along with nearly every junior and collegiate program across North America. In 2015, we launched our sister company, Howies Athletics, expanding beyond hockey into all sports and physical therapy. Through this growth, we now supply sports medicine, rehab, and performance products to MLB, NFL, MLS, and NBA teams, top Division I programs, major physical therapy clinics, and thousands of high schools nationwide in both the US and Canada. If an athlete needs tape, sports medicine, or rehabilitation supplies, our goal is to be their first call - and to earn lifelong loyalty to the Howies brand.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work in an organized, high pace level to meet warehouse demands on a daily basis
Assimilate well into the Howies team environment and overall company culture
Pick and pack all orders – ranging from small online orders to large complex pallets
Strong attention to detail to ensure complete accuracy and error-free shipments
Actively manage inventory according to company procedures and system requirements
Be able to receive and stock new products while re-stocking and condensing current items
Awareness of on-hand stock levels and have a good understanding of products on back order
Be able to communicate with the team and manager when the stock of items is running low
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse at all times
Execute special tasks such as operating the Howies van to make drop-offs and pick-ups
Availability to work long hours during sales and during the holiday rush season
Forklift certification is not required, but it would be a big plus
COMPETENCIES
Quality: Be able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness while maintaining efficient workflow at all times. Awareness to monitor own level of work to ensure quality and apply feedback from supervisors to improve overall performance.
Teamwork: Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities. Must give and welcome feedback to build group morale, to ensure group commitment to buy into objectives. Communication within the company, top-to-bottom, is also critical.
Safety: Perform all work-related duties in a manner that is not detrimental to themselves or their teammates. Operate all equipment and handle all tasks with safety being the top priority. Efficiency is important, but ensuring safety always comes first.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES – As a growing business, team members are expected to wear multiple hats. Additional responsibilities may include:
Represent Howies Hockey / Athletic Tape at tournaments and tradeshows as needed
Work with the management and marketing teams to develop new marketing pieces
Work with the management and sales teams to develop new sales ideas
Engage both the operations and sales sides of the business daily
Anything else required from Howies to be a best-in-class business
